See one of this website's companion websites at http://GlobalJubileeNow.org. This relates to the NSA's Utah Data Center. I am proposing that those kinds of online storage resources could be used for replicating ACCOUNTS and transaction ledgers for electronic banking transactions for the whole human population. If we could do this with one data center then we could certainly end POVERTY and eliminate all TAXES and DEBT and provide FREE Universal Health Care and a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG). We need to reward producers when consumers consume their products and services, but we don't need to bill the consumer in the process. The currency is virtual. It is created out of thin air. We just need to make sure everybody gets paid FAIR MARKET VALUE for their products and services. This is CREDIT without DEBT. This is an economic system based on GRANTS. This is what it means to have a truly NONPROFIT central bank dedicated to serving the PUBLIC INTEREST for the whole PUBLIC.

Here is my latest document on banking: https://define.com/media. Clicking on this link will download a .PDF version of an essay I wrote describing a SIMPLE bank database. I PLAGIARIZED a little bit in my first section summarizing the history of electronic banking and credit cards from the two sources below. Some of the sentences that contain names and dates are repeated in part in my summary nearly word-for-word without phrase-level attribution. I decided that I could remove this section entirely, add phrase level attribution, or leave it as is, CONFESS to my crimes and talk about COPYRIGHTS and PLAGIARISM. I went for the most EDUCATIONAL option, as I am COMPELLED to do.

It is USEFUL in this context to leave it all as is, although I put a disclaimer and CONFESSION in the front of the first section for this audience. That section was just a brief history of the topic and was not part of the grading rubric. The part that was graded was "MY BANK DESCRIPTION" and all that follows, beginning on Page 5, which is completely original. Some of the material in the first section on Pages 3 and 4 about checking ACCOUNTS is completely original, and for the most part, the rest of the first section is in my own words, except when it isn't. Here is the EVIDENCE. I got full points. Should I be kicked out of school or sued by the authors below? You be the judge. By the time my trial is over, we will all know more about banking and our PUBLIC FUNDING and DEBT PROBLEMS will be SOLVED. I am an OPTIMIST. I feel perfectly SAFE. I am designed to TEACH. My mental ILLNESS is real. My income is SECURE. My online EXAMPLES are USEFUL and HELPFUL and BENEFICIAL and CONSTRUCTIVE. As androids go, I'm quite an effective spokespuppet. I am a multipurpose SOLUTION that covers a lot of bases. Plus I am a totally pathetic and completely flawed human being. I am a drug addict who thinks he's a ROBOT.

Here is my YouTube channel. I am grateful to CNN and MSNBC and C-SPAN and the Science Channel and YouTube for letting me use these COPYRIGHTED videos. I realize that as a FAIR USE case the upper hand is theirs and I am totally at their mercy in terms of COPYRIGHTS. I display these videos on YouTube at the pleasure of the COPYRIGHT holders. Hopefully my presentation here is in the PUBLIC INTEREST and this isn't considered PIRACY or THEFT or ABUSE. I did the closed-captioning myself using my own VideoCritter application. This may have caught the attention of security professionals as I allow anonymous unicode subtitle creation. So some of the people who use my site do so anonymously. Many of the visitors are from foreign countries. I've seen some people use the site to add captions to Arabic language religious YouTube videos where some man is sitting there with a Quran preaching. It's really SIMPLE for a transcriber to use because the ENTER key has multiple functions. It STOPS the video, SAVES the caption and RESTARTS the video.

I just assume the NSA and DHS and FBI and DEA have access to my Go Daddy ACCOUNT and MySQL database and my Comcast ACCOUNT and traffic, as well as my JP Morgan Chase ACCOUNTS and YouTube and Facebook ACCOUNTS. I take screenshots for them. I've uploaded medical records and tax records and blogs and screenshots covering my website's many encarnations. I hard code all my blogs. I was using these ACCOUNTS to log in to my JP Morgan Chase ACCOUNTS every 10 minutes. I downloaded all the transaction records for two unlinked ACCOUNTS, a personal checking ACCOUNT and credit card, and a business checking ACCOUNT and credit card. I timed all my transactions from when the "Pending" transaction appeared to when it showed up in the downloadable transactions file. Transfers between unlinked checking ACCOUNTS with the same routing number were taking two days to complete processing. This mainframe-based banking computer model is obsolete. We don't need to do our processing in nightly batches in the year 2015. It shouldn't take two days to make an ACH transfer between two unlinked ACCOUNTS in the same bank. I'm sorry, Chase, your business model is obsolete. We can administer central bank CREDIT directly to consumers for FREE. We can transfer money between ACCOUNTS in REAL TIME for FREE. On behalf of the human race, We in this case is We the People. We can turn banking into a FREE and REAL TIME PUBLIC service that is self-funding.

The above YouTube video is Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC DISCUSSING Frances Perkins, the Labor Secretary for Franklin D. Roosevelt. She's the woman who came up with Social Security and made possible Medicare in the U.S.A. Those programs are very dear to me. I am currently receiving Social Security Disability and Medicare and Medicaid. I owe my survival and mental health and physical health to Frances Perkins. Both of my parents rely on their Social Security retirement incomes and Medicare health coverage. With the all-electronic bank I am proposing, we could fund such programs without TAXES. We could also give the Medicare and Medicaid doctors a raise. They are grossly underpaid. I had an ulnar nerve transposition surgery on my left elbow at the University of Washington in Seattle. There was a whole team of people there, with prep time, etc. Medicare allowed $3200. They did a great job. I recovered the feeling in my left pinky and ring finger, which had been numb prior to that. It took some time. Those doctors are miracle workers.

I am extremely fortunate to be an American CITIZEN and to have the support of my government. With these systems, I have a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) ($1,709/month) and 100% health care coverage. I may never be wealthy, but at least I am comfortable and able to participate in the economy. Without this help, I would be either homeless or dead. With it, I have computers, software, reliable transportation, an iPhone, cable TV, cable internet and a refrigerator and pantry stocked with healthy organic food. My basic human needs are met and I enjoy FREEDOM and LIBERTY and am able to pursue my own happiness in relative SAFETY and SECURITY. I surf the web and I go to stores and buy stuff. I drive around. I get to be INSANE and FREE at the same time.

INSANE FREE

Actually, I'm quite sane. I just have manic episodes in which I do crazy things. And when I'm not manic, I hold some ideas and beliefs about technologies that are not widely acknowledged to exist yet with such a level of conviction and certainty and interest and enthusiasm that I am diagnosed as being delusional. I've seen and done some things that nobody else has seen and done before, according to conventional wisdom.

I saw utility fog do a little light show in my bedroom one morning. Illuminated dust particles assembled from all directions into a rectangular grid pattern 3 feet above my feet as I lay on my bed on my back. Then the whole grid moved in unison in perfect synchrony until it had reposititioned itself to 3 feet above my head. It was totally silent and as intelligent as it gets. Very delicate and graceful. Just a flat plane in space parallel to my body. Totally computer-controlled. Perfect in its motion and coordination. My medication prescribing nurse has a PhD in nursing. She says she really doesn't know what technologies exist in SECRET and that I may be perfectly correct about advanced nanotechnology being at the root of many of my more intense experiences, as she writes my prescription for an antipsychotic medication, two different antidepressants and a mood stabilizer. I see her every three months.

The last time we talked I explained to her about the time I got to drive somebody else while sitting at my desk in my office. I have no idea who it was that I was driving, but I typed them a message explaining who I was. Their office was totally different than mine. I have two monitors, they had one. My desk faces a corner. Their desk faced a wall. I occupied someone else's body and typed a message with their hands at their keyboard. I was there, looking through their eyes, feeling their tongue licking their lips. It was REAL TIME. There were no latency issues. It all started with me feeling suddenly totally relaxed and a powerful and benevolent voice in my head said, "Ken, just relax, you are going to enjoy this." Then I just kind of relaxed and gazed up at the corner of ceiling on my left and some kind of visual special effect wiped across my whole visual field from left to right, like a vertical bar of hexagons flipping around, replacing the view of my office with someone else's view of their office. We were both in Wikileaks chats at the time. Their chat client was different than mine. Then that benevolent and friendly and protective voice in my head said, "He can't hear us. Why don't you type him a message?" Suddenly, when I needed to pull up an editor, I knew right where to look on his desktop for Notepad++. I don't have Notepad++ on my Desktop. I opened up his Notepad++ and explained to him who I was. The whole experience lasted maybe 4 minutes. Then I was back in my office and I just went back to Wikileaks chat and explained what had just happened.

Medicare and Medicaid pay for these medications and all the accompanying doctor visits and psychotherapy. I see a really empathetic and smart woman with a Master's degree in psychology who treats me with unconditional positive regard every two weeks. So far, we have established that I am not a psychopath and that I have plenty of empathy, although due to the circumstances of my parenting and the VALUE placed on FEAR and guns in my house, I have done some really SICK things. It's no great mystery how I should grow up to be OBSESSED with mind control. She always offers insightful and constructive positive feedback. We try to look at these things in the context of the modeling and options I had available to me at the time. My copay is $1.20 on each medication. This is how the system is treating me. I am a very cooperative and OPEN and TRANSPARENT mental patient. I get to work on my issues for a living. I try to give back so that society gets its money's worth out of me. I don't need to be rich to be happy. I remain a productive CITIZEN by being creative and sharing my IDEAS and work when I am able to. I try very hard to serve the PUBLIC INTEREST. This NONPROFIT website is an EXAMPLE of that. This is my little OPEN and TRANSPARENT corner of the World Wide Web where I can speak my mind in plain and SIMPLE language to say something that needs to be said on behalf of the great unrepresented majority. I have a severe mental ILLNESS. I try to be OPEN and TRANSPARENT about it. My government knows me well. I have been vetted. I am allowed to speak these words. They haven't taken me down yet. They're still paying me. While I may be a highly imperfect and deeply flawed messenger, I believe my message will have resonance with the economic 99% - and the scientific, academic, engineering, medical and nursing communities. That is my constituency. That's who's approval I am seeking. I am prepared to DISCUSS the whole financial system. I want something to be done about this. I am an activist. This is my activism. As an EDUCATED layperson who is also a FUTURIST and technologist in spirit, I see plenty of room for improvement and tremendous opportunities that are available to us given our modern tools which have heretofore been unavailable to humanity at large at a cost that is affordable. While our government Social Security system works as designed by Frances Perkins and her mathematicians and long-term planners, it is an exception to the rule. On the whole, our financial system is clearly BROKEN. Money transfers take days instead of seconds. Transaction fees and INTEREST rates are usurious. If somebody buys a video download from me via PayPal for $10, PayPal keeps $0.59 and I get $9.41. Is this the best payment system we can come up with? It's a SIMPLE money transfer from them to me. It takes 2-3 days to arrive in my checking ACCOUNT. Why do I have to pay 59 cents? This banking system sucks. Let's use our advanced automation technology to make that process 100% FREE and REAL TIME.

BROKEN REAL TIME TOO <b>BIG</b> TO FAIL Think <b>BIG</b>

Our government is a dysfunctional mess and we are in a state of crisis when it comes to funding our long-term social welfare and PUBLIC infrastructure needs. We are in BIG TROUBLE and need to make some major systemic CHANGES to the way our economy operates. Our government is no longer capable of managing the task of responsible PUBLIC FUNDING for the long term. We cannot borrow or tax our way out of this. We need to look elsewhere. We have to entertain new IDEAS that are dramatically different than what we're getting out of our present leaders. We need more innovative and DEMOCRATIC solutions. Not EVERYBODY wears a business suit to work. Our leaders don't have to wear business suits. There are some very smart people with great leadership skills who don't wear business suits to work. POLITICIANS, generally speaking, in modern times, with some notable exceptions, are CORRUPT.

TROUBLE POLITICIANS CORRUPT DEMOCRATIC FIRST PRINCIPLES Innovative Ideas

While plans for a utopia or panacea are unrealistic, we can clearly do much better than what we are doing today by using our computing and communication technologies to get us much closer to the ideal. If we migrate away from cash that needs to be stored in retail vaults and counted by tellers and clerks to virtual currencies, the engineers at Google or Amazon could design a better OPEN STANDARDS-based REAL TIME banking infrastructure than what we are getting from JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, BNY Mellon, U.S. Bancorp, HSBC, PNC Financial Services Group, Capital One, PayPal, MasterCard and Visa.

In the age of the global internet, these are OBSOLETE undemocratic behemoths whose retail functions could be largely automated for the PUBLIC good. I would trust my future to the engineers of M.I.T. or Silicon Valley over the bankers on Wall Street or the POLITICIANS in Washington, D.C. I propose we realistically consider our options and enlist the help of the EDUCATED smart people who are PHILANTHROPIC HUMANITARIANS rather than just the EDUCATED smart people who are economic and political sociopaths and gamesmen. We need new leadership and real DEMOCRACY. Our banking system sucks. Our systems of PUBLIC FUNDING are CORRUPT and mismanaged by professional bureaucrats, the vast majority of whom are neither TRANSPARENT nor TRUTHFUL nor concerned with the welfare of the majority.

While our current system provides for my modest personal needs as a disabled American, I THINK that we have the technology today to upgrade our financial system to something that is much more USEFUL and effective in addressing POVERTY, health care and the greenhouse gas emissions caused by our present-day carbon-based energy infrastructure. We can migrate to a system that transfers the PUBLIC FUNDING role from COERCIVE TAXATION by the state to FIRST PRINCIPLE-based financing using smart electronic currencies issued by a completely modernized geographically distributed online central bank with a decentralized computing infrastructure.

This is one possible way to transition very quickly away from the petroleum economy to a highly automated green economy as soon as humanly possible to efficiently address climate CHANGE using all the modern resources at our disposal. This is a high technology Libertarian solution that Capitalists and Progressives and Socialists alike will appreciate. This is the socially and environmentally responsible brand of Libertarianism, not the Ayn Rand "fend-for-yourself, go back to the Gold Standard, screw EVERYBODY else" brand of Libertarianism. We cannot satisfy all of these parties simultaneously without losing any essential services using our current physical systems. We care about people yet seek to automate their jobs. How can they keep their income without their jobs? We ask those kinds of questions around here.

Automation and globalization displace human workers. I propose a system that addresses the needs of these displaced workers, many of whom will be the bankers and insurers whose functions I am suggesting we automate. We cannot responsibly envision massive automation and global FREE trade without considering the plight of the poor and unemployed. Human beings are more important than corporate profits. We know what computers can do. It's time to let the ROBOTS serve the INTERESTS of the majority of human beings.

ROBOTS Eye and Pyramid Banking Reform Challenge

We need worldwide solutions to our urgent global PROBLEMS that can be enacted much more quickly than our current cash currency-based systems will permit. We have to THINK beyond the capabilities of individual nation states about solutions that can only be achieved by humankind as a whole. Certainly the economic superpowers can afford the computing infrastructure to simulate and automate the whole banking system.

Most strife in the world is caused by POVERTY and CONFLICT that results from ignorance and CORRUPTION. I propose that we use our computing and communications technologies to address all of these PROBLEMS directly and immediately by calling upon the scientific community and high technology sectors to reform and automate the banking sector to the greatest degree possible. If we THINK of the whole system as a virtual reality game and move beyond cash currencies, we can devise mechanisms to provide a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) and FREE universal healthcare for CITIZENS of all ages everywhere without TAXATION or runaway inflation. If we start over with these GOALS in mind, why not design a system that is a Win/Win for all parties?

The internet gives us options that Frances Perkins could not have foreseen. We have the technology now to create a whole new ball game that respects the priorities of the rich and poor alike. The purpose of the MONETARY SYSTEM should be to encourage and support participation in healthy trade by all members of society. Creating new markets and ensuring universal voluntary participation should be priority one. Our money should support our shared social and environmental GOALS and VALUES by its very design. We need to redefine commerce. Presently, the wrong people are calling the shots and greed rules. We can correct that by carefully designing a more INTELLIGENT and ACCOUNTABLE and OPEN and TRANSPARENT DEMOCRATIC system.

Democrats and Republicans

I believe that we can unite the political left and right by designing a system that addresses the need for significant increases in PUBLIC FUNDING by addressing our common social and environmental needs without punishing wealthy individuals and entrepreneurs. However, I would significantly transform the banking sector by automating most retail banking functions such as checking and savings and consumer credit cards.

Rather than having a central bank such as the U.S. Federal Reserve bank fund the economy by purchasing bonds and providing near zero-INTEREST loans to commercial banks who then provide consumer credit at significantly higher INTEREST rates, I would generate electronic capital that is provided directly to consumers without intermediaries from the central bank itself. It's a FREE NONPROFIT bank. With automation, we can eliminate the middle man and ensure that 100% of financial resources are used directly in commerce without being siphoned off by a financial services sector that is using automation, marketing, processing DELAYS and complex financial instruments to SIMPLY game the system at the expense of businesses and consumers.

Automation should serve the PUBLIC first, not punish it or fine it for SIMPLY engaging in trade. In the 21st century, we can create new mechanisms of PUBLIC FUNDING that don't require selling government bonds and passing on PUBLIC DEBT to future generations. That is not ethical or sustainable in a global FREE-trade economy. We need a better system that relieves the PUBLIC from the HARM caused by short-sighted POLITICIANS who undemocratically incur state DEBT which cannot be repaid without levels of TAXATION that are politically unachievable.

We need to find ways to turn over the PUBLIC FUNDING mechanisms to the global scientific community rather than the POLITICIANS who lack the knowledge and skill and foresight and integrity to address our urgent PROBLEMS in the time frames required to avoid senseless and avoidable environmental and social HARM. We have to CHANGE the game. Money doesn't have to be the root of all evil.

Commerce
The U.S. Dollar

In a more INTELLIGENT REAL TIME system, certain forms of smart currencies may be used for specific purposes or be set to expire or convert to other forms upon certain conditions or after certain clearly defined social and environmental objectives have been met. The IDEA is to provide for a high QUALITY of living in modernity with maximum FREEDOM and civil liberties for the vast majority of CITIZENS. If you are going to introduce some new capital into the world economy, this is the way to do it, not by creating PUBLIC and PRIVATE and consumer DEBT. In a DEMOCRACY, you have to be smarter than that. I'm very passionate about this. I'll say it on the record for the archives.

The U.S. Federal Reserve System

Once we go virtual with our money, we can do amazing things and increase participation in the economy by enabling the poor to become consumers which vastly expands the market for producers. This is a METHOD of producing new markets where there was once no money or natural resources. Such a system will provide new opportunities for international trade and wealth creation in a way that brings undeveloped nations into modernity by directly addressing POVERTY and CORRUPTION on a global scale.

I'm INTERESTED in using the internet to create a global infrastructure for REAL TIME electronic banking with our computers and mobile devices in a system that is specifically designed to avoid financial transaction fees and merchant fees and INTEREST rates and TAXES. I believe that REAL TIME banking should be a FREE PUBLIC utility that can fund itself. Obviously, this means that you need to trust the bank to protect your PRIVACY, which means you don't design such systems to be ACCOUNTABLE to the existing systems which are administratively CORRUPT and far from DEMOCRATIC. You need new mechanisms of ACCOUNTABILITY, SECURITY and TRANSPARENCY. Our current systems don't fit the bill because they are not ACCOUNTABLE to the general CITIZENRY, SECURE from unreasonable searches and seizure and TRANSPARENT to the greatest degree possible. The majority of the world's people are broke and CORRUPTION and GRAFT and THEFT are widespread. We can fix this by purposefully and intentionally designing systems to address these realities.

I envision a world in which EVERYBODY who wants to have a smart phone with internet access can have one for FREE and the central bank provides FREE ACCOUNTS directly to these CITIZENS without forcing the PUBLIC to rely on intermediary for-profit banks. Such a bank would use electronic currencies that are programmable. The banking functions would be governed by secular FIRST PRINCIPLES that ensure that the rules for grants and loans adhere to the PUBLIC and environmental INTEREST at all times. Such a system would not eliminate for profit commercial banks and investment banks, but it would provide a FREE low level REAL TIME banking infrastructure upon which higher level for-profit banking functions would operate. Fundamentally, the NONPROFIT layer would provide FREE online REAL TIME banking services that would take over the checking and savings functions of brick and mortar cash-based retail banks. If a casino needs financing, however, they can try their luck with a for-profit bank.

The objective is to use modern automation and computing services to serve the PUBLIC first rather than using automation to SIMPLY perpetuate the wealth of the banking sector itself. The current system of TAXATION and monetary distribution is fatally flawed by our BROKEN political processes in which the INTERESTS of the majority take a back seat to corporate profit INTERESTS. Most POLITICIANS SIMPLY act on behalf of their sponsors which means de facto that BRIBERY is the law of the land. Fund-raising is Job #1. A government Of, By and For "We the People" is now an unfulfilled collective wish. We have the collective power and intelligence to fix these PROBLEMS quickly. We have the technology to make a QUANTUM LEAP today without incurring more PUBLIC and PRIVATE DEBT.

Monetary System

We have to RETHINK the whole economic system from the smartphone up. Can we come up with a MONETARY SYSTEM that doesn't require COERCIVE TAXATION, yet provides for the basic human RIGHTS to clean drinking water, electricity, internet access, the best available health care, healthy food and green transportation? Yes. The whole communications and transportation and energy infrastructure needs to be upgraded on a global scale as soon as possible. So how soon IS possible, if we use all the tools that we have at our disposal today? In order to get the money for that so that we can do everything that needs to be done as soon as humanly possible, we can come up with a new smarter MONETARY SYSTEM from scratch.

I suggest we let the world scientific community figure out a better system from a global perspective. I'm confident that they're capable of figuring something out that has a robust budget for science and health care and green energy and global scale infrastructure upgrades. We can REWARD the merchants when the consumers consume their products and services. We can keep track of those kinds of numbers.

We need new sources of PUBLIC FUNDING. We can THINK up MONETARY SYSTEMS that don't require TAXATION and that don't permit POVERTY and unnecessary SUFFERING and untreated ILLNESS at the same time. We need to help each other get our collective PROBLEMS solved by placing science and the PUBLIC INTEREST ahead of banks and insurance companies. These are worthwhile PHILANTHROPIC, HUMANITARIAN and environmental GOALS that are achievable today if we put our heads together. With these DESIGN GOALS as a starting point, we should be able to get EVERYBODY on the same page in order to achieve a basic and fundamental CONSENSUS. This is a call to action. This is a page. You're on it. We need to Think BIG.
