Expire \Ex*pire"\, verb (used with an object) [imp. & p. p. {Expired}; p. pr & vb. n.
{Expiring}.] [L. expirare, exspirare, expiratum, exspiratum;
ex out + spirare to breathe: cf. F. expirer. See {Spirit}.]

the mouth or nostrils in the process of respiration; --
