D. baviaan, G. pavian, baboon, F. babine lip of ape, dogs, etc., dial. G. b["a]ppe mouth.] (Zo["o]l.) One of the Old World Quadrumana, of the genera {Cynocephalus} and {Papio}; the dog-faced ape.
