Naval \Na"val\ (n[=a]"val), adjective [L. navalis, fr. navis ship: cf. F. naval. See {Nave} of a church.] Having to do with shipping; of or pertaining to ships or a navy; consisting of ships; as, naval forces, successes, stores, etc.
